I’m quite amazed that I can find the time to do my nail arts with the pile of assignments awaiting to be completed.

Btw, I’m updating this space in class as my tutor is teaching hahaha #likeaboss

Till next time!

nail art #14 ombre, #15 colourful leopard prints and #16 multi-coloured stripes

Hello all readers, I’m finally back with 3 nail arts!

I’m having my break now so I’ll still be able to come up with at least one more nail art before my 2-week break ends.

Okay so it’s actually my first time painting ombre nails, take a look at the pic:
It wasn’t that difficult to do this, just grab a sponge, paint the colours of your choice on the sponge and dab it onto your nails. I used the following colours for this design:

  • Base: Revlon Lingerie Black
  • Light turquoise colour – PA A72
  • Tip: OPI Ski Teal We Drop

Ok next nail design is:
I’ve always loved the leopard prints mani. It’s easy to draw and looks nice with any colours and on any base colours. This time, I decided to use a nude base so that my prints will stand out.

  • Base: OPI Tickle My France-y
  • Index finger: China Glaze Aquadelic and OPI Hot and Spicy
  • Ring finger: China Glaze Lemon Fizz and OPI That’s Hot! Pink

Last nail art that I’m showing you today (and I just did it this morning), the multi-coloured stripes:

This one’s pretty messy to do at first, but I figured out an easy way to get it done. Just cut a strip of tape and tape it in the middle of your nail, then paint your nail with the 1st and 3rd colour (which in my case, it’s the blue and the pink). Then, remove the tape and paint the yellow colour over. Colours used were:

  • Glitter: OPI Happy Anniversary
  • Blue: China Glaze Aquadelic
  • Yellow: China Glaze Lemon Fizz
  • Pink: OPI That’s Hot! Pink

So there you have it, 3 different nail art after a long hiatus. Oh and you can follow me on Instagram @gwwenn for more nail art designs :)

Till next time!

nail art for cousin!

I did my cousin Sylvia’s nails today. She requested for the cath kidston one (why everyone wants that? haha), and she can have her nails painted coz it’s the school holidays!! So, here it is:

Right:

Hope she likes her nails (:

and I know of a way to keep my blog alive (after I start work) which is to help my friends/family paint their nails, then I can always update this space with more designs, right? OKAY SO WHO WANTS TO VOLUNTEER THEMSELVES? I really wouldn’t mind painting for you girls, just treat me to a drink can already hehehe (;

nail art #13 the double collars/scallop nails

I got bored of my tribal nails which I only had on for ONE day! I searched online for some inspiration and came across this mani tutorial from the beauty department and I decided to try it. I love the colours and I haven’t had pink nails for a while so.. here it is:

I call it the ‘double collars’ or the ‘scallop’ mani because it resembles this mani here. The lines aren’t perfect because I free-handed them, I didn’t have the patience to wait for the coats to dry and I also do not have the reinforcement stickers which were used in the tutorial. But, it turned out pretty okay?

Colours used:

  • OPI Pandamonium Pink
  • OPI Hot & Spicy
  • OPI Koala Bear-y

These photos really do not do justice for this mani. They really look better irl haha (: I think I’ll have this on for at least 4-5 days haha :p

nail art #12 tribal nails

I will be posting the first ever photo of my right hand in this post!

But before that, take a look at my left hand first:

How do you like today’s nail art? I’ve been wanting to try this design for the longest time but I procrastinated hee :/

…and presenting to you.. my right hand (I must warn you, it’s a bit awkward looking):

As you can see, I had on different tribal designs for both hands, thus the need for the above photo. I had a difficult time taking a nice photo of my right hand because my left hand was shaking terribly. Also, the design is not as nice on my right hand, lines were shaky and all over the place. ):

Colours used:

  • OPI Tickle Me France-y
  • OPI Hot & Spicy
  • China Glaze Aquadelic
  • Black and white nail polishes

I played around with different stripes and dots for this design. Took me awhile to get it done as I had to go through some of the lines twice before the colour was opaque. But I had fun doing this design (:

I think I wil only have time to come up with one more design before work starts ): So stay tuned okay xx
